WHY

Why...don't people think before they speak. Today I got a phone call from a number that from previous reviews has been calling my house countless times a day for weeks. I answered the call one day when I was off a couple of weeks ago and found that it was no one I of course wanted to speak to....it was an insurance company. They apparently are due money because of a deductible. As she so kindly put it "the money is due for room & board from my stay at"---This is where I cut her off to tell her I know what you're talking about. The stay was not at a nice little hotel or a crappy old motel, oh how I really wish it were. The "stay" was for my time at LIJ to deliver my stillborn child. Did she know? Not likely...did she care? again not likely. Why would you continue to read your paper with a pre-written standard request for payment? Why after I have told you I know what you're referring to...I have not gotten a bill please resend it would you then go on to request payment WHY when I have told you it was an extremely traumatic experience WHY would you explain that you can't send me a new bill for 30days because of some newly implemented system...WHY aren't you listening to me. Why am on still on the phone? You would think that I would just hang up but no I continue to be the "nice" person and wait till the situation is settled. It pissed me off that she didn't listen to me...but it further pissed me off that she asks me to answer a customer service survey now that we've settled everything....WHY the fuck would I want to do that for you.
